Michaels: The Great 1-Month Slim-Down
This 8 minute video by Self magazine shows Jillian
Michaels as she trains Meghan, a newlywed who is looking
to tighten up some problem areas. Jillian goes over
seven different exercises that are simple to do with
no high-cost machines required. A few of the exercises
require light weights or the use of an exercise ball,
but most are exercises that you can do right in your
living room.
The beauty of Jillian's program is the exercises are
working on multiple muscle groups at the same time --
so your able to get the maximum calorie burn and tone
your entire body in a very short period (keeping you
away from lengthy visits to the gym). Jillian suggests
that if you stick to this program over a 30 day period,
you can easily lose between 10 and 20 pounds and eliminate
problem areas such as muffin tops, saddle bags and flabby
arms. The whole video is shot overlooking the Pacific
Ocean, which makes for great inspiration. This is a
great video to get started with an at-home program.
Note: These exercises appear to be built for a person
who is in relatively good shape. |
